Patresa's friday night fever with Leffe, 23rd April 2010 ~ . Patresa happy our night for the first time at "Library" is with Leffe !~ Patresa was there for Pat's colleague farewell. We were having lot of laughter and fun ...
Yes, it was our first time to "Library". You probably would think we are a little outdated... =). The place is with cozy environment, we love the happy hour's music... Read again...I said, Happy Hour's music. After the happy hour, we can't stand the music anymore. It was just too noisy for the both of us. Probably, we are getting old. =). And we walked out from the door, and don't feel like returning.
There was a promotion during happy hour. 1 pint, free 1/2 pint ! ...
Leffe is a Belgian brand of Abbey beer. Patresa had no idea on the taste of the beer but it was recommended by Pat's colleague. We love the taste. The taste of the beer is slightly stronger than HoeGarden or Paulaner. We found that HoeGarden and Paulaner are just too smooth with slightly lack of the taste of alcohol.
Joke of the night? Khoo, spent RM30 for a glass of 'sex on the beach'. He was attracted by that name! Andddddddd....... guess what! ..... It was an orange juice !!! ...With little or none alcohol added at all !~~~ .... The joke... RM30 for the orange juice, and I can get high quality of 30 oranges. LOL !~
And... Pat bought a pack of condom for RM10 and also pat got a free 1/2 pint Stouts. Better than RM30, "sex on the beach" right" ?. The condom can be used at anywhere, not only on beach .... LOL ... =)

21st April 2010, is our bad bad day, but also our sweetest day. I'm not sure how people look at an argument. Some people comment a healthy relationship will not ends up with argument, but, patresa would think otherwise.
Some would question, why argue? Patresa's thought :- Argument is to express one's thought and feeling as well as emotions. The thought on each other, to disclose their dissatisfaction deep down in their heart. The truth is, it could be hurt, and hard to accept the ugly truth. But on the positive side, we get to know each other even better. Believe it or not, everyone is changing on every single day. Teresa is changing, patrick is changing too. To maintain a relationship, patresa could not stay stagnant on who we were on yesterday or on who we thought he/she was yesterday.
Regarless of you agree or disagree with the above thought, it's patresa's thought on how to keep their relationship on going and moving. Of course, too much argument would never comes with a beautiful ending.
You will only know, it's a sweet ending when you have taste a bitter ones !
The beautiful ending is to end our night with a tight lovely hugs & kisses. 
Many friends have been asking about Lucas zhai or little lucas, Patresa's precious! Thanks for the concern and cares. Lucas is doing good @ Teluk Intan. Growing fast, and he is 5 months + old... Getting naughtier each day. And he started with some little solids - Fruits like grapes, apples, dragon fruits and oat.
Yups, this blog is only mean for Patrick & Teresa / Patresa's life. Therefore, very little update on the son. Even though some would question that the son is a part of our life as well but patresa prefer to keep it personal, and not publicly publish.
Patresa has a collection of Lucas's album in facebook but it's only for invited friends. If you would like to follow, do let us know. =)

It's always nice to have you gals around after all these years. You gals have been so supportive in every decision I made, being a real true friends by giving me wise and good advise. Never jealous on me, or neither you envy on me, and yet you gals never look down on me. We are always being truthful to each other, we never tell lies to each other when we talk, we are just so frank to each other, like as if we can be a good couple for the rest of our life, ..... we will always be each other good friends, i believe. You know, the kind of friends who can listen and talk so genuinely without worrying a single thing, and I never worry my secret will leak out at all .... The comfort that I will never find in anybody else besides you.
I'm not the kind of person who can handle my own little life well. I'm the kind who need comforts and supports. I am feeling lucky of having friends to share my feelings, the happy and the sad ones. Really, it's just so hard to find another you. Who will not betray me, will not give nasty comment, and will never condemn my life.
I remembered so vividly, a few years back, when I was young, was very unsure of my decision, was crying out loud, was hurt so deeply, and life wasn't an easy one for me and I have no one to turn to, you were there to be with me. You gals, came all the way to the city of Cyberjaya, just to give me some comfort, to show me your cares and your loves. To cheer me up, to build me stronger and to bring me hopes. I went through that moment with your support and encouragement.
Even though, you didn't get to attend my big days and celebrate most of my lifetimes big day, but I believe, you are always with me. Your little sincere wishes have always brighten up my day. I know, you always give me the best wishes you could. And all I want is the SINCERITY and WELL WISHES from your little heart, and no more .... not the money, and not the material stuffs. =)
Thank you Nora for lending me a few hours, to stay at your comfy bed, and you were there to comfort me, to open up my mind, to evaluate every possible road.
Thank you Esther for all the phone calls, the always wise choice to make.
I've finally went through another lesson with courage. A choice with no regret.

Okie, it's kinda boring with the normal boiled/fried/steamed dishes with garlic and onions. I got this idea from my ex-colleague. He suggested to do it during romantic candle light dinner. But I can't wait to give it a try. =P .... It's a veryyyyyyyy simple dish, but, Patrick likes it so so much ... *** happy happy !

We had a pretty tiring Monday. It a non-ordinary monday =P. We had our simple dinner at Tesco,Mutiara Damansara. Then we head to borders for some books & magazine... =) Supposed to go home after borders, but we decided to go for windows shopping @Ikea. Got some idea on home decoration! It also gave us some inspiration. =), The mirrors, the wardrobe, the cabinet and stuffs... We were so tired, as we can't wait to go home and rest on our comfy bed. Halfway to our car, we decided to catch a movie ! hahaha....patresa is always the kind of people who goes with the flow..... and patresa's slogan? No planning is the best planning !(as per the entry's titile) =P
Ok, We're just on time and just nice for a movie. We go for Jack Neo's movie - Being Human. We got a buy one free one ticket(RM9)from CiTibank Voucher & we bought a set of combo for RM2. Total spent = RM11 for 2 person... Worth it?! ..

I thought I can't laugh at all, as I was really really tired. But the movie is just so funny to tickle our funny bones. Patresa do has a little similiarity with the couple too...No no, not the bad part on the guy...But the part where the husband was so sleepy and the wife can't stop ranting after thinking too much ! ....Hahahaha, that's the part we laugh so loud ! Hey patresa did the same too, you know....and also the part where the husband thought ignorance is bliss...!!!! No no no...It's definitely not.... At least, it don't work on me.... =P ... Gals need attention and gals need cares and loves... All gals do.It's gals' nature, isn't? ... =)
Done with the movie, head home, bath, and on the bed! ... so much we have done on the monday night huh ! =) fuhhhhhhhhh....

Patresa rate this 8/10 ... You can't stop laughing your lung out from the beginning of this movie till the end ! This is just so nice for a married couple like us... And we enjoy this movie so much because patresa has so much similiarity with Phil & claire Foster.
The movie begin with their kids waking them up in the morning to prepare breakfast. Patresa start to imagine a few years later when Lucas at that age! ... The superb naughty boy will be worst than them. And I will be playing 1 2 3 games with little lucas, as house claire Foster did! ....hahahah....
Patresa date night is just similar with Phil & Claire Foster. Both the couple used to make fun on the people around them during their dining out. Wooooo hooo ...so do Patresa!!! ...Hahahahah, the exact same way we did... On top of that, we have more things than the couple, Foster. =P ...Patresa go to work together, and it's just so nice to talk about others driver on the road when the traffic is bad. Those driver look tense and most of them have the sour face early in the morning!.BAD ... We make fun on them, and we always laugh next to them. That cheer them up too !!! .... To us, why put on a sour face in the early morning even before you enter to office?! ... Begin your day with laughter, and happiness & luck will follow you all the way... =P
Ok, next on the Foster's encounter. Patresa has about the same experience as well !!!!, buttt,.....It's not that dramatic though... LOL ... We remember we were dining out at a chinese restaurant @ Kepong. We were so hungry and tired, after our 2 hours drive from Teluk Intan. We get down from the car, and we just get our place seated. This lady was so polite to us, and take our order. As we were waiting for our dishes, we realize our place is actually reserved for a person named "7 gor" (in chinese) aka "brother no.7" . To us, this name sound like people from the gangster group. Place is @ Kepong, undeniable we do have the thought that they are 95% from gangster. We can't change to another table, as it was full house. We remain seated. And keep on our worries, if someone will mistakenly kill us...Cos we are not "7 gor". Not long after "7 gor" arrived with his wife, and the couple stare on us with their sharp and fierce face. That put us on an extra cautious. LOL .... As we are already halfway eating, we speed up, and pay our bill. And the last we did was, ran FAST to our car..... !~ LOL ....
Moral of the story, Don't sit on the place with "RESERVED".

It's our 11th monthiversary and hubby was giving me this big surprise that I will not forget for the rest of my life. =).....*muacccccccccks~ ... Thank you my dearest hubby and I can't stop thanking god for sending me a lovely husband!
Hubby is just so thoughtful. He thought of giving me this big surprise by placing it on the bed. But he can't hold any longer to show it, when I was picking him up after work! LOL .... But, it's still a big surprise to me! ho ho ho .... luv it so so muchie ~~
We supposed to have a beautiful romantic dinner at home, and coincidently it's a farewell for hubby's good friend. Therefore, we decided to attend the farewell, and have the dinner tonight, as today is the exact day for our marriage monthiversary. =) ...Oh yea, our precious is now exactly 5 months old! ....

I don't own an iPhone. But, is it true, iPhone 3G is without MMS?!!! I don't believe .... I don't believe steve jobs will come out with a pretty phone but without an easy logic to build MMS in it!!! And no VideoCall?!!! then what's the reason of being a 3G phone??? ....3G technology is mean for streaming data, and what the heck, No videocall?!! ....

It was hard to tell my most memorable date. I had been in a few relationship before I truly settled down with my husband. I supposed I'm kinda lucky as I've experience many different kind of date night. There's a touching one with fireworks specially for me, lovely dinner with the company of a bouquet of roses on the table in an italian restaurant @ Cyberview Lodge, fun one with watching magical show during my birthday just to tickle my funny bones and laugh out loud and some are quite ordinary one as in dinner + movie in the mall.
My husband and I get bored easily. We tried to go on very ordinary date - Dinner + movie, but we get bored easily with this ordinary outing. We tried to dine at home, with our homecooked dishes and a bottle of wine. It was fun for the first few times but, eventually we get bored as well. We used to go for evening walk around the park, and this activity doesn't last long... Of course, those date does make our happy happy day.
But one thing we never get bored of during our date night is "making fun and fool with other people who surround us!" ....Regardless of it's an ordinary date night or an exclusive one, our night is always fun with our tricky tricky idea. ***ngek ngek ngek*** You know, by making friends with strangers, interrupting their conversation, and observe their response is just so fun ! It's also cheering other people and other couples around us! Those people are just too tense to put a smile on their face! We have got the satisfaction with the doings and we always laugh out loud together in the public. It's not the matter of how exclusive a date night, it's always the matter of how genuine the smile and laugh on our face that make up the memorable and unforgetable date night! ...
It's been quite some time since our last movie. Yesterday,7th April, patresa has chosen Clash Of The Titan to watch. It's another movie which we thought worth the money. It's only RM16.00 on Wednesday night for a pair of couple seat @Cineleisure for the movie that has practically invested for about 70 million dollars in re-producing the movie.

The movie begin with a narration describing and introducing the characters - zeus, poseidon & Hades.(Patresa like this way of introduction =) ) Then the half god and half human, son of zeus, Perseus was introduced. Patresa loves the animation and the visual effect in the movie. It's look real. The sound effect of every storm and thunder, the fighting scene, the climax was pretty good ! The plot is not complicated to understand. Overall we rate this 7/10 ...Thumbs UP.. However,patresa still prefer The Book Of ELI more. =P...
Go watch this movie!!! .... They have invested 70 million to re-produce "Clash OF The Titan"... We're not supposed to waste their effort and money ... Furthermore, this is a movie that worth all your penny you pay. =))
Oh, before we end, we thought Sam Worthington as Perseus has done a pretty good job in this movie. =) He looks tough with his body shape....So sexy huh !

Being a newly wed couple for almost a year, we had enjoyed ourselves with less worries. Hanging out with friends, and with less responsibilities and commitments for the past 2009.
In this year 2010, we made a vow to grow up, to be responsible, to have commitments, and to be a better person.
We have chosen a beautiful place where less people choose to be in at our age. (The road not taken?). A place with full of family community instead of the headache happening life nearby mall or places full of entertainment temptation. We need a peaceful life, surrounded with all the positive people around or good influence from the neighbourhood. We believe, the people surround us will influence us the most. We need a place that give us an energy in the morning, to live our life with full of hopes and dreams, a place that make us realize the importance of family values. Yes, thanks god!,Eventually we have chosen a most suitable place after searching for up and down for more than half a year. =)
Our new hub is very comfortable with the refreshing air blowing into our home. This morning, we woke up with fresh and energetic look before leaving home. After work, we head home, and we had a few round of walks around our place. We saw kids are running and playing around. Observing them, we wish our precious will grow up fast, and joining that group of kids. =) Those kids are so cute and so smart and so handdddsome !!! =) Got home, and I prepared our dinner for Friday Night ! Ain't that's how a family should be? ... Oh yea, the people here rest early at night...I guess before 12am? .... It's just quite during night time! Probably they were having sweet & quality time with their family members at home. =) ....
Yups, no worries...It sound bored for some people with this kinda of life, and probably we will feel bored in the future as well, but we try to have some "spark" once in a blue moon =P...Oh yea,will still enjoy our days if not everyday...Plan for movie over the weekend and get some friends to hang out with ! =) -tata-

Yups, I have been feeling guilty since my precious lucas is out to see the world. I was in dilemma whether I should continue as a working mum or stay-at-home mum. Till today, after I read the article below.
I HAVE often been asked: “Who is better – the working mother or stay-at-home mother?” Mothers who want to quit working, want to know whether they are making the right choice. While mothers who are full-time home-makers want to know how it will affect their children when they join the workforce.
Whether working or stay-at-home, all mothers share the same fears and concerns. They wonder whether they are feeding their children right or spending enough time teaching them the right values.
You should always feel that you are doing your best for the children. Whether you work or stay at home, you are a full-time mother. There is no place for guilt. If you look after your children with knowledge, skill, love and patience, you are the kind of mother that deserves the highest recognition.
I grew up with a working mother whose own mother was a stay-at-home parent. When I was growing up, my mother and my grandmother often differed in their views on how children should be disciplined or how to manage certain behaviours.
Whenever my mother went on annual leave, we felt that she was cramping a year of parenting into a few short weeks. She made us clean our rooms and gave us extra written work for practice. We were quite relieved whenever she returned to work.
My siblings and I felt much better when Mother was at work. We wanted her to leave us to our own devices. When she was juggling work and raising us, she shared her time with us doing what really mattered. She took us on educational trips and introduced us to arts and culture.
My mother fared better outside the house. She also worked because we needed the extra income.
She could hardly cook but she took us out to great eateries to try out international cuisine. Sewing was not her forte either.
There were many things she did not do but my mother’s mothering style provided us with a great deal more.
We learned to do many things that she could not do. I started cooking at a young age because my mother encouraged me by buying as many cookbooks as she could afford.
Mothers get criticised for their choices. When they choose to work outside the home, many would frown on them and blame them for all the wrongs their children did because they were not able to stay home to spend time with their children.
When my children were babies, I had one stay-at-home mother who asked whether I breastfed my children. She also told me that I would not have much time for my children because of my busy schedule.
A mother who chooses to stay at home with her children is often misunderstood as someone who could not do much outside the home. I know of many well-educated and capable women who are home-makers.
I once met a lady who was conducting a survey on households.
She asked: “Madam, you don’t work outside the home. What is your educational background? Did you finish secondary school?” She looked surprised when I told her I had post-graduate qualifications. She had assumed that I was a stay-at-home mother because I had little education.
I used to have a neighbour who was a stay-at-home mother. Every day I could hear her screaming at her crying son. She was not happy and neither was her young son. She felt stressed out and lonely staying home the whole day with a young child.
What children really want is a happy mother, regardless of whether she is a career woman or a home-maker.
We raise our daughters on limitless possibilities of career choices. We must support them in the choices they make.
Children thrive on their mother’s love; there is no discrimination whether this love comes from a working mother or a stay-at-home one.
Be confident and trust that what you have chosen for yourself is also the best for your child.
