Whilst, I was preparing for our dinner tonight. Just completed my mission. 2 dishes 1 soup for 25th Feb 2010 dinner @ our little hub.

Figure 1: "Tian Qi Huo Xue Tan" soup ... Enhances blood circulation, enriches blood and strenghtens body. =)

Figure 2: Fishball Sausage Egg ... From my own recipe =P ... Trying to imitate KimGary "Foo Yong Egg" ... No minced chicken, and little prawn, that's why substitute with fishball and sausage. Kakaka...Sauce taste as good as KimGary's =P

Figure 3: Hong Kong baby kailan ...

Season One: Only us

...Picture speak a thousand words...

Season One: Reborn

Guess, it's enough for us to get all the encouraging emails, texts, and words from friends around. We have shared a few thought on the earlier post entries. From now on, we will share with readers on how we move on, our lives. The Reborn of Patrick & Teresa

It was a rainy day after works, we decided to dine at home. Simple dinner. After dinner, Patrick decided to work on his designing task. Rain stopped. I went out for groceries shopping nearby @ Jaya Grocer. The new supermarket at the neighbourhood. Reached home, after an hour shopping. Patrick was still concentrating on his works. While I did some house chores. And I tried out to cook Hainanese Chicken, learnt from sister-in-law during the 2nd day of CNY. =)... Tasted not bad eventhough not as good. PM me, if you want the recipe. =P
Also, I boiled herbal soup which helps for blood circulation... Patrick likes it! Soup is to reward him after his long hour work on the designing task. =P

Patrick show off his hard work after he completed. And it was pretty impressive to me! I wasn't expect much at the beginning when he decided to take up the designing task, and the outcome is just out of my expectation! I would admit, he is great at it. Keep it up, husband !!!

Our beautiful day end with a bowl of soup. And LOVE.

Quote one: We can't change the past. Those tracks have always been there and those races have always been there. What we have to look at is the future.

Chapter Five: Everyday is a beautiful day

Stepping up. It's a simple concept. It basically means to rise above yourself; to do a little more, to show you something special. Something like this. Someone is gone in our lives, but that doesn't mean our lives is over. As a matter of fact, I say it's just beginning. You might want to stay out of my way for a while. Life's funny sometimes; can push pretty hard like when you fall in love with someone but they forget to love you back, like when your best friend and your boyfriend leave you alone, like when you pull the trigger or light the flame and you can't take it back. Like people said, in sports they call this 'stepping up'. In life, they call it 'pushing back'. =)

Readers, remember, Everyday is a beautiful day. It's a new beginning of every fall. =)

Chapter Four: The Law of the Garbage Truck

Received an email from a friend this afternoon. Found this really meaningful:-

One day, I hopped into a taxi and took off for the airport . We were driving in the right lane when suddenly, a black car, jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed the brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. I mean, was really friendly. So I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'

He explained, "Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. NEVER take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on with the routine life." Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so...... 'Love the people who treat you right.. Pray for the ones who don't.'

A very rightly said quote: Life is 10% what you make and 90% how you take!!!!

Chapter three: The Impact

There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroad, afraid, confused, without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days.

We faced the problem, made a choice and act emotionally without fear, but we regret on the rest of our days. Regret but life still goes on. Hoping for the same mistake will not happen again. We made apology for the thing we done wrong. However, broken glass will not be the same again though it can be mended.

We do regret but our choice of road ain't a total bad thing.
Because it´s only when you´re tested that you truly discover who you are. And it´s only when you´re tested that you discover who you can be. The person that you want to be does exist, somewhere in the other side of hard work and faith, and belief and beyond the HEARTACHE and fear of what life has.

The impact - We regret, we move on, we become a better person, & we found ourselves, our precious people around.

Chapter two: One of a kind

Have you ever look a picture of yourself, and see a stranger in the background?. It makes you wonder how many strangers have pictures of you. How many moments of other peoples life have we been in. Were we a part of someone's life when their dream came true or were we there when their dream died. Did we keep trying to get in? As if we were somehow destined to be there or did the shot take us by surprise. Just think, you could be a big part of someone elses life, and not even know it.

Do you agree with the above statements? Personally, we do. We move in and out from someone's life without knowing, and with little or no intention at all. We wish we walk in at every time when their dream came true or even when their dream died. We are happy with someone's success, and cheer together with them. We give our sympathy and our helpful hand when their dream died.

We believe we have all kind of people around us, some encourage, some discourage, some being supportive and some don't,some are helpful, and some just trying to destroy. But after all, we are all just one of a kind!

chapter one: transformation

There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment you must choose your direction. Will you fight to stay on the path while others tell you who you are? Or will you label yourself? Will you be honored by your choice? Or will you embrace your new path? Each morning you choose to move forward or to simply give up.

Yes, we are taking our new path, and we choose to move forward every morning !

Every once in a while people step up, they rise above themselves. Sometimes they surprise you, and sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes, it can push pretty hard, but if you look close enough you find hope in the words of children, in the bars of a song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you're lucky, and if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

We are the luckiest person on this entire planet. We wish you are, as well !~ ...
